Wedding Album Pricing Guide

There’s nothing like viewing your wedding photos in print. Sometimes we forget this step because so many things are focused around social media and online galleries, but viewing your photos in a printed album is priceless. It’s a convenient way to keep all your favorite photos from your wedding day in your home where you can view them and share them with guests!

Flat Ridge Photography album pricing is slightly different than how some photographers offer albums. I believe that everyone in varying price ranges should have a printed album of their wedding photos. Because of that, I offer albums from both a luxury album company and from a standard print company. All albums (from either company) are designed by me personally, which makes them customizable to whatever you want. I will give you a couple examples of what others have ordered in the past and the difference between the album companies.

Example One

This client wanted to be able to include a large amount of photos in the album, while keeping the price somewhat affordable. So, we ordered this album from the standard printing company - the album was a 12x12 hard cover album with upgraded flat lay pages. We were able to fit about 550 photos into the album, so the client had sufficient highlights from all parts of their wedding day! The total cost of this album was $550.00 (including the design cost).

Example Two

This client cared more about the overall quality of the album than they did about the quantity of photos in the album. So, we ordered this album from the luxury album company. This album was a 12x12 hard back leather cover album with upgraded thick flat lay pages. We fit about 200 photos in this album, so the client had still a decent amount of photos in this album, as well as a higher quality physical album. The total cost of this album was about $1300.00 (including the design cost).

Example Three

This client chose a creative option. We ordered two albums in order to keep things somewhat affordable AND allow for a higher quality option. One 12x12 album was purchased from the luxury album company including about 50 photos that the bride and groom loved the most from the day. This album was about $450.00. Then, a second album was purchased from the standard printing company to include about 500 photos from the day. This album was purchased for about $450.00.

As you can see, there are many ways to purchase the album that is right for you! It is usually easiest if we set up a time to talk through what you are looking for both in quality, quantity of photos, and price range. This guide will hopefully help give you an idea of the different options that you have, and help us talk through what you want!
